Australian Trade Community Magazine January 2003 edition describes how RVA technology can be used to predict the degree of preharvest sprouting in wheat.

Author of the article, Gerard Noon of the Australian Technology Showcase, says that results of a joint trial of the technology by Newport Scientific and AWB Ltd (formerly the Australian Wheat Board), have opened the way for this Australian technology to be adopted as the standard industry-testing instrument for wheat producers and exporters.
